I work across two formats — talks and workshops — depending on what a context needs. Talks bring a perspective into a room; workshops build something together. Both emerge from the same ongoing practice at the intersection of art, design, research, and AI.
The talks below are organised into thematic clusters rather than fixed titles. Each cluster represents a territory I return to repeatedly, approached differently depending on the audience — a keynote for a design conference lands differently than a seminar for doctoral researchers, even when the underlying questions are the same. 2019-2026Cognitive Sovereignty & Creative Authorship
How do you stay the author of your own work when generative AI can produce a version of it in seconds? These talks explore creative sovereignty not as rejection of AI, but as intentional design — building workflows, methods, and practices that expand what you can do while keeping your judgment, voice, and thinking at the center. Embodied Creativity & Human-AI Co-Creation
AI has no body, no nervous system, no hunger or gut feeling. These talks make the case that this difference matters — not as a limitation to work around, but as the most underused resource in human-AI collaboration. Drawing on artistic research, somatic practice, and more-than-human perspectives (including actor-network theory), these sessions reframe the question from "how do I use AI?" to "how do I stay present, sensing, and embodied while working with a system that isn't?" The territory ranges from creative practitioners to researchers to educators navigating the shift from generative to agentic AI.

Synthetic Media & Visual Culture
Some of the earliest and most sustained work in this practice — beginning in 2019, when synthetic media was still a fringe concern rather than a daily reality. These talks examine how AI-generated imagery reshapes perception, trust, and the conditions of visual communication: from deepfakes and post-truth uncertainty to the surreal aesthetics of GAN-era art, and what it means to appreciate what AI reveals rather than fear what it distorts. A thread running through all of them: visual scepticism not as paranoia but as literacy.

Art-Based Methods & Transdisciplinarity
What happens when artistic research methods leave the academy and enter innovation contexts — tech companies, cross-sector labs, policy environments? These talks make the case that art-based thinking offers something institutional innovation processes consistently miss: genuine tolerance for ambiguity, speculative inquiry, and methods that expand the problem rather than rushing to solution. Drawing on years of curriculum design, festival curation, and transdisciplinary collaboration, these sessions are built for audiences who want to understand not just what creative practice contributes to AI discourse, but how it functions as a method.

AI Literacy for Practitioners
Industry-specific talks for animators, filmmakers, designers, and students navigating a field where the tools are changing faster than the frameworks for using them well. These sessions are less theoretical and more operational — showing the actual state of the landscape, demonstrating what meaningful AI integration looks like in practice, and helping practitioners distinguish between genuine creative augmentation and what might politely be called generative slop. The goal is not to evangelize or warn, but to equip.

Creative AI Workflows for Creative Professionals (2024-26)
A hands-on workshop for creative teams, design studios, and educators who want to integrate AI without surrendering authorship. Participants design intentional workflows that expand capacity while preserving clarity, originality, and critical judgment.

Tuning In - Embodied Human-AI Co-Creation (2023-26)
An experiential workshop for artists, researchers, and creative practitioners who want to explore AI as a relational medium rather than a production engine. Through guided experimentation, participants observe how ideas arise in the body — and how to collaborate with AI without losing that signal.

Rituals for Human-AI Intuition (2025)
An exploratory workshop for artists, technologists, and researchers working with agentic AI systems. Through movement-based exercises and embodied experimentation, participants develop a new kind of intuition — one that senses when an autonomous process is drifting, before it can be explained.Presented at AVU Prague / Ars Biologica Summer School 2025.
AI Sketching (2024)
An experimental workshop exploring design fixation in AI-assisted rapid prototyping. Participants role-played designer–client dynamics while generative systems translated sketches into photorealistic outputs, revealing how AI mediation reshapes iteration and authorship.Presented at ARCHIP and Creative AI Meetups Prague. Co-created with CodingArch studio.
Encountering (Sour)Dough (2023)
A participatory workshop for anyone curious about the ethics and conditions of human-AI co-creation. Using sourdough preparation as a collective tactile metaphor, participants explore what it means to collaborate with a non-human agent — and what remains untranslatable.

Artificial Intelligence and Collective Imagination (2023-24)
A workshop exploring how AI interprets and visualizes collective speech in real time — using live text-to-image generation to reflect participants' own words back to them as they speak, surfacing how generative models read, simplify, and stereotype human expression.

Scrying Through AI (2021-2022)
A speculative design workshop investigating text-to-image diffusion as a closed-loop interface. Participants could only iterate through textual modification of generated images, exposing the tension between language, intention, and visual imagination. Explored collective authorship and the metaphor of “scrying” — where describing a vision transforms it.Presented at FAMU – Academy of Performing Arts Prague; SVITAVA – Transmedia Art Lab, Brno; Academy of Fine Arts and Design Bratislava (VŠVU) – Digitálne umenia; and AIxDESIGN platform.
Collective Vision of Synthetic Reality (2019-2021)
An early speculative workshop crowdsourcing future scenarios for emerging AI models. Using a custom card system, participants imagined use cases and societal implications — mapping both utopian and dystopian trajectories of synthetic tools.Presented at Google; CtrlZ.AI Zine Fair, Barcelona (alongside ACM FAccT 2020); IxDA Interactions 2021; DOX – Centre for Contemporary Art, Prague; MA Future Design, Prague College; Umanesimo Artificiale, Italy; and others.
Bob Ross Lives! — Workshop on the Creative Potential of GANs (2019)
An early exploration of GAN-based creative tools with a mixed audience of designers, artists, and hackers — prototyping speculative use cases for synthetic media before the tools had names or the field had an industry.
