Pixels and Poetics: Sudek, Funke, and the Influence of New Technologies on the Development of Photography

I’m currently included in Pixels and Poetics: Sudek, Funke and the Influence of New Technologies on the Development of Photography at Czech Centre London (20 Jan – 13 Mar 2026). The exhibition brings together historical photography by Josef Sudek and Jaromír Funke with contemporary work engaging artificial intelligence and image culture.

In this context I’m showing Troubling GAN and the series Strange Attractions, which explore neural networks’ aesthetics, behaviours, and limitations — and the ways algorithms shape what we see and believe. The show also features Barbora Trnková’s Your Addiction Is the Message and the collaborative work Generation of Princesses by Barbora Trnková and Tomáš Javůrek, each engaging generative technologies in critical dialogue.

After London, Pixels and Poetics will travel to Czech Centres in Paris, Belgrade, and New York later in 2026–27.

Art & Tech for Higher Education / TAH Impact Academy

From 1 to 5 February 2026 I led the second iteration of Art-Tech for Higher Education, a five-day intensive course organised by TAH Impact Academy at TAH – Centre for Innovations in Technology, Art, and Humanities in Prague.

This international cohort of university educators and researchers came together to critically engage with generative AI tools and creative methods, upskill their practice, and rethink how AI can be used ethically, creatively, and pedagogically in higher education. The programme blended hands-on workshops, ethical reflection, and artist-inspired approaches to shift mindsets and support educators in becoming creators, not just consumers, of AI-enhanced content.

I served as main designer, facilitator, and lead instructor, delivering roughly half of the course content and guiding participants through issues of academic integrity, creative AI workflows, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies in teaching and research.

Echoes of Becoming — Immersive Projection at Prague Planetarium

Prague Planetarium Prague / Opening event of Dny AI 2025

I presented Echoes of Becoming, a 360° immersive projection on the Prague Planetarium’s LED dome, as part of the opening night of Dny AI 2025 on 3 November 2025. Echoes of Becoming is an audiovisual meditation on human–AI co-creation, unfolding through sound and light across Europe’s largest LED dome and exploring the iterative reflection between human expression and generative intelligence.

This projection was shown under the theme “Under the Same Sky,” a programme that brought together artists, researchers, and technologists for the largest artificial intelligence festival in the Czech Republic, hosted by TAH – Centre for Innovations in Technology, Art, and Humanities at Prague Planetarium.

LOADING COEXISTENCE: Radovan Dranga, Lenka Glisníková, Lenka Hámošová, Lukáš Prokop

My project Clayborn: Meditation on Human-AI Interface was exhibitied at the group exhibition Loading Coexistence at Vašulka Kitchen Brno, running from 17 September to 9 November 2025. The show brought together work by Radovan Dranga, Lenka Glisníková, Lukáš Prokop, and myself, and asked how artistic practices can coexist with and alongside technology, from software and moving image to embodied interactions and media systems.

The exhibition was curated by Viktória Pardovičová and presented a range of approaches that grant technology agency in the creative process while opening up critical and sensory perspectives on our shared techno-media environment.
