SAR International Forum on Artistic Research 2024
I was thrilled to participate in 2024 Society for Artistic Research Conference in Tilburg, not just as an attendee but as a keynote speaker alongside Natalie Loveless and Anne Helen Mydland, discussing the challenges of Artistic Research and the controversial role of AI in co-creation.
Together with Markéta Dolejšová, we proposed expanding the idea of “more-than-human co-creation” with AI, focusing on the ethical and aesthetic dimensions of knowledge-making in artistic research. We led a dérive session where participants interacted with an AI-generated prompt, translating embodied experiences back into AI—a process that sparked both surprise and frustration, highlighting the paradoxes of AI-human collaboration.
